Want to farm gold fast in PokéPath TD? This guide covers the Wave 100 AFK method — the quickest, most consistent gold farm that lets you print money while you sleep.
The Fast Gold Method (Do This First)
If you want the quickest, most consistent gold farm, here's the setup:
Step 1: Farm Until You Can Reliably Reach Wave 100
Wave 100 is the boss wave. The AFK farm only becomes "real" once you consistently reach this wave.
Step 2: Turn on Auto Retry (NOT Restart)
This is what makes the farm AFK and repeatable. Auto Retry will restart the same wave when you fail, allowing infinite farming without manual intervention.
Step 3: Run Persian + Ditto(Persian)
- Persian — Your money farmer (generates gold on hit)
- Ditto — Copy Persian → Ditto becomes Persian
This is the core "money printing" combo that players use.
Step 4: Add Slow/Stun Utility So Persian Hits More Times
Pick 1–3 of these depending on what you own:
- Corsola — Best slow (huge AOE ring)
- Ampharos — Best AOE stun
- Optional control: Cryogonal / Seel (extra slow/stun)
Goal: Keep the boss slowed/stunned inside Persian's range so Persian keeps attacking nonstop.
Step 5: Keep Leveling Persian (It Gets Noticeably Faster)
Persian often feels slow mid-game. Players report at Level 100, Persian attacks around 0.6s, which makes the farm feel smooth.
That's it! If you can reach Wave 100 with Auto Retry and you're running Persian + Ditto(Persian) + control, your gold per run jumps hard and it becomes a true AFK farm.
Recommended Fast Farm Team Template
Must-Have
- Persian — Core money generator
- Ditto → Copy Persian (doubles your gold income)
Control (Pick 2)
- Corsola — Slow (keeps boss in range longer)
- Ampharos — Stun (locks boss in place)
Optional Stability / Wave-Clear
- Maractus — Top AOE on grass tiles
- Excadrill — AOE armor break
- Gengar — Solid single-target damage
Quick Placement Rules (Simple but Works)
- Corsola: Put where it tags enemies early and keeps them slowed through the main turns
- Ampharos: Place near the spot where enemies bunch up (so stuns land inside Persian's range)
- Persian: Place where the boss stays in range longer (turns/bends are ideal)
Why This Works (Explanation)
1) Wave 100 Matters Because It's the Boss Wave
Bosses stay on the path longer and take repeated hits, which is exactly what a "money-per-attack" unit wants.
2) Ditto Doubles the Money Engine
One Persian is good. Two Persians (Persian + Ditto copying Persian) is what makes it feel like "real farming."
3) Slow/Stun Effectively Increases Persian's Output
You're not literally boosting attack speed, but slowing/stunning the boss means:
- Boss spends more time inside range
- Persian gets more attacks
- More attacks = more gold
So it feels like Persian is "attacking faster" because it's constantly firing.
Common Problems (Fast Fixes)
"Persian is too slow at Level ~60"
Normal. Fix it by:
- Pushing to Wave 100
- Adding Corsola + Ampharos
- Continuing to level Persian
"I can't consistently reach Wave 100"
Add stability:
- 1–2 wave-clear units (Maractus / Excadrill / Gengar)
- More control if needed
